Beyond research
Besides research activities and teaching, as a group we are committed to dissemination and outreach:
“Spreading culture, knowledge and transferring research results outside the academic community, thus contributing to social and cultural growth”
To us, this means opening up our work beyond the laboratory context. We do this on a daily basis at personal level, talking to friends and family, but also by organising specific activities.
As a laboratory, we offer to secondary school students the opportunity to experience a short period of training in the lab, to provide them with cross-cutting skills and guide them in their choice of their future university career (Progetto formativo per le competenze trasversali e per l’orientamento, that is a school internship project)
We are also committed to conducting lessons and activities in lower and upper primary schools so as to usher the youngest into the world of research
In addition, we spread scientific knowledge through newspapers and magazines by issuing interviews or writing articles on topics related to our research activities.
