After four years, the first in-person meeting of the Italian Society for Parasitology (SoIPa, www.soipa.it) returned to the wonderful city of Naples, which offered its best venue overlooking Castel dell’Ovo. The theme of the congress was “Parasitological Transitions”, with a special look at the past, present and future evolution of Parasitology. An important meeting point between the biological, veterinary, natural and medical sciences which, despite appearing distant from each other, they have never been as connected as today.
